TX Retreat Lodge

We offer a venue that can suit a variety of packages to include Engagement Parties, Bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, Anniversaries, Family Reunions, Corporate Retreats, Weddings, Birthday Parties or any desired private event. Our unique hill country grounds offer a beautiful setting with 26 species of wildlife, flowing water, 20 mile unobstructed views and large trees. Our large and cozy cabins offer the comfort of home including a modern rustic kitchen space, living room, and fireplace.

Axis Cabin

The Axis cabin offers a living room, kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining options and bedroom with a queen sized bed. A large porch that allows for our large “Axis” cabin to be connected to the two bunk cabins “Oryx” and “Sable.” This area includes a covered space, benches, outdoor grill, and a fire pit ample for conversation.

Our pleasant bunk cabins offer 1 full bathroom, 2 half baths, a mini kitchenette, 2 full size beds, 1 bunk bed, and a pull-out couch that can accommodate up to 8 guests each.

One of the most stunning places I’ve ever been. The wildlife was lovely and it made for an unforgettable experience.

I'm not sure that I can truly do it justice in words. Every single part of our vacation couldn't have been better. The cabins were perfect, the scenery was picturesque and the wildlife perfectly framed the experience to feel like we were on the African Savannah (minus the lions). It truly made for an incredible time. Susan and everybody were so helpful, and there were additional funsies that added so much. I can't recommend it enough, and we really can't wait to be back!

Honestly I don’t even know where to start, but to say wow! What an amazing breathtaking place and views! Everything was perfect since we arrived Susan, took care of us and answered all of our questions and concerns! We took the tour of the property with Mr.Darryl, Susan, and Tony and wow it was beautiful. We were lucky to meet Charlie, (Wallaby) and my kids were able to feed him with Ms.Susan. Also she gave my kids all the ingredients to make s'mores. My kids were super excited and happy! If you are thinking of booking it, I 100% recommend this amazing, beautiful cabin. I for sure will be coming back ☺️

The boys and I had a blast over the weekend. Shane and his family were some of the most amazing and hospitable guests we could’ve asked for. Would highly recommend the place and activities around the property. Thanks again Shane, I will never forget such an amazing experience!
